The origin of BELLOSGUARDO farm dates back to XI and XII century as a "country house" or a fortified farm.
The current walls allow us to assert that since the beginning , the complex has always kept its agricoltural vocation.
The location, the name of the farm "BELLOSGUARDO",the latin headstone of Cardinal Minerbetti confirm the historical surrounding value that this place has had since '600.
Initially BELLOSGUARDO farm was the residence, besides wealthy families who lived in the villa, of many country families who used to plant filelds there.
After some time, when all the property of the farm, including the villa, had been completely deserted till a complete degrade, a recovery plan has been made, under the local supervision, which has brought again brightness to the villa, the outbuildings and the gardens as in the ancient days.
The property has been restored in accordance with the origin and the materials of the original age of the property, adding technology and all the necessary modernization of today life.
